As a not-for-profit community radio station, Rutland and Stamford Sound relies on a motivated team of volunteers to succeed. The station’s volunteers include on-air presenters plus individuals performing a wide variety of behind the scenes tasks, (e.g. marketing, sales, accounting, fundraising). We are seeking an volunteer with strong organisational skills who will contribute to the station’s the long-term sustainability by helping us to build a strong team of volunteers. The Volunteer Co-ordinator will work with the Station Manager (Rob Persani) on the recruitment of volunteers and in ensuring that there is regular communication with all volunteers, with roles and responsibilities clearly defined.

Availability Details
The role requires a minimum of two hours a week, on average, but can be expanded if the role holder has more time available. The role holder needs to be available to have online meetings during the day, with the station manager and other volunteers.
