Would you like to work as a volunteer at one of our visitor centres at Rutland Water Nature Reserve and support your local wildlife?
We are looking for volunteers to help in a customer facing environment, who feel comfortable welcoming visitors to the reserve and assisting with any purchases as well as being a source of information for anyone visitor the centres. Training will be given including a free annual permit to access Rutland Water Nature Reserve at any time, a volunteer uniform, invitations to social events throughout the year as well as being part of a big family of volunteers who all dedicate their time to support nature’s recovery. You would be working within one of the most stunning areas of the county.
We are also looking for additional Osprey Volunteers who are able to work together in a pair during our Osprey season (March to September) giving information to visitors at our Waderscrape Hide and monitoring the activity of the Rutland Osprey.
Skills
