We are looking for a volunteer to support our tutor in a Functional Skills Maths class on Thursday evenings 6.30 to 9pm

Patience and a sense of humour and the ability to follow instructions from the tutor and support learners to 'do it themselves'. Good Maths skills will be desirable in this class.
About Rutland Adult Learning & Skills Service
Rutland Adult Learning and Skills Service offers courses to adults 19+. There are qualification-based courses in maths, English, ESOL (English for speakers of other languages) and Digital Skills. We also offer pottery, arts, crafts and language courses without qualifications, and Independent living courses for some learners with additional needs.
We are looking for volunteers to help support our tutors, mostly in daytime classes, for 2-3 hour sessions once a week, or more, if available, who can commit to at least 3 months, preferably a year, of support. We break for half term and end of term holidays.

Availability Details
We run 2.5 hour sessions for each class once a week, with breaks for holidays, similar to Rutland schools. We generally start at around 6.30pm and would ask volunteers to be available 15 minutes before, and possibly 15 minutes after a session to help tidy up.
