The role holder should have good written communication skills, should be able to use MS Word and should be comfortable working as part of a small team. The role holder should be enthusiastic about the key aims of Fairtrade, i.e. better prices, decent working conditions and fair terms of trade for farmers and workers in the developing world. The role holder must be able to attend meetings in Oakham. These normally take place on a weekday evening at 7pm.About Rutland Fairtrade Forum
The Rutland Fairtrade Forum works with local business, schools and community organisations to promote Fairtrade. The Forum organises a series of events during the year, including an annual Fairtrade Christmas Market. The Rutland Fairtrade Forum is responsible for ensuring that Rutland retains its status as a Fairtrade County, with the support of Rutland County Council.
