Community Ambassador

We are currently recruiting a team of Community Ambassadors who will help us to reach a wider audience, at the same time as strengthening links with communities in the local area. The Community Ambassadors will be responsible for promoting Rutland and Stamford Sound in the area they live and for acting as a local news source. We have lots of ideas on how we can develop the Community Ambassador role and no doubt the volunteers will come with their own suggestions.

Skills

Able to build a relationships with community groups in local area. Good communicator. Enthusiastic about your local community and helping to make people feel more connected with events happening locally. Self motivated. Team player.

  • Accessibility
    The work can be done from home.
  • Age restrictions
    We require the volunteer to be aged 16 or older.
  • DBS check required
    Not initially, but if the role evolves to involve working with children or vulnerable people, a DBS check will be required.
