About

The Rutland Fairtrade Forum works with local business, schools and community organisations to promote Fairtrade. The Forum organises a series of events during the year, including an annual Fairtrade Christmas Market.

The County of Rutland was granted Fairtrade Status in March 2007. This means that a certain level of support has been reached in the promotion and use of Fairtrade marked products in all sectors of the community – local authorities, retail outlets, restaurants, cafés, businesses, clubs and associations, schools and churches.

Rutland Fairtrade promotes Rutland businesses, schools and organisations that support Fairtrade. We are developing an on-line directory that will give details of all those that have signed up.
