About
Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust is the leading wildlife conservation charity working to protect and enhance the wildlife and wild places of Leicestershire and Rutland. We believe Leicestershire and Rutland should be rich in wildlife for the benefit of everyone – with more wildlife, more wild places and more people having a strong connection to nature. We are part of a grassroots movement made up of 46 individual Wildlife Trusts who all believe that we need nature and nature needs us. Each Wildlife Trust is a place-based independent charity with its own legal identity, formed by groups of people getting together and working with others to make a positive difference to wildlife and future generations, starting where they live and work.
