Western Power Distribution is providing £500,000 to support charitable organisations who are addressing the issue of holiday hunger this summer. Applications are encouraged from organisations delivering projects that deliver both short-term interventions to stop holiday hunger and longer term support to help reduce food poverty. Western Power Distribution distributes electricity to 8 million customers across an area covering the Midlands, South West England and South Wales.
In this funding round, all organisations are able to benefit from up to £2,500 in funding. You can find out more about the fund on our website, including a funding guide and the application questions, so that you can make the best application possible.
We are accepting applications to the fund until 14th June 2022 and it is quick and easy to apply. Simply log in and click on the Community Matters Fund banner to begin your application within the ‘My Grants’ section of your account.
At Localgiving, we’re dedicated to securing extra funding for our members and we hope that you are able to access this funding to support families with children this summer.
